About

Zhurrat Reviews is a book blog where we review some of the books we read. Laurel reads a wide range of genres as well as literary fiction, but focuses on reviewing books from the Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Futuristic Paranormal genres on this blog. Other books may sneak in where she feels a review is warranted.

We have a passion for well-written stories, whether they’re published commercially or by the authors themselves. This blog was originally intended to be a platform for authors of science fiction romance to have their stories reviewed, and the majority of the authors of that genre are indie publishers. As it turns out, many of the stories we currently review are indie-published, but we have not stuck to the SFR genre.

We read books we have collected as well as books received from authors or publishers as ARCs. We do not charge for writing reviews. Reviews are shared here on Zhurrat Reviews, Goodreads, Amazon (in the case of new releases), Netgalley (where relevant), Facebook and Twitter.
