I read this as part of The Time Traveller’s Almanac, edited by Ann and Jeff VanderMeer.

This is a very interesting short story about the three-man crew of a spaceship who, landing on a planet, find a crashed craft. They investigate, only to find their own faces staring back at them (and no, that isn’t the spoiler it sounds like).

The story is well written, drawing one in, and each of the characters is well-depicted and different in personality. The ending was not expected, but I’ve seen better “punch lines” (in this case, several sentences…) than was employed to wrap this story up.

Good classic scifi. I am dubious about the time travel tag though. On the surface it appears to be time travel, but when one scratches it a bit, that notion falls apart.
